I found these today as I was going through some old papers. Let me tell you a little story of what I tried to do in 1993. I contacted the SciTrek science museum, here in Atlanta, about producing a traveling exhibit along the lines of the "Star Trek" exhibit that was touring at the time. All of this was based on my dealing with Peter Greenwood, who claimed to have a great many original props from the shows. I was introduced to him by way of Gary Conway, who told me that Peter might be of help with my convention Gary was going to be a guest at.
Sadly, it was not to be as no props ever showed up at the convention, as I was assured they would, nor did Peter himself step off the plane with the tickets I paid for. Gary Conway and I scoured the airport to see if we missed him. No pages were answered. Meanwhile, back at the convention, my associate was trying to explain things to the museum staff.
As you can see from both their typed response and the hand written note, I had done it, I SOLD IT!!! Gary and I spent a great many hours that weekend trying to find Peter, but he seemed to have gone into hiding. As a result, with no props to see, the deal fell through and I looked like an idiot!
