I have it on dvd, well sort of a Netflix originated version but we don't need to delve into that grey area. I remember first seeing this on one of our local tv stations back in the late 60's. Back when local stations actually filled non network time slots with good stuff. This was on "The 6:30 Movie". It was an enjoyable movie to me,still is today. But even as a little kid the "dinosaurs" were a huge disappointment to me. Calling an iguana with horns and dorsal plates stuck on him a Brontosaurus was ridiculous. Irwin Allen was NOT a popular guy with the A.S.P.C.A. after this movie came out. There is one scene where David Hedison is cornered by a "dinosaur" that was reused in a Voyage episode. His outfit in the movie did kind of pass for his Seaview uniform at a distance. Several other "dinos" did cameos in Lost In Space. The caimen that was "in makeup" got shot by Don in an episode, oddly enough after originally being shown as a full size dragon head prop from another movie. I think another one had a brief scene in Land of the Giants ep The Crash. In a nostalgic way I actually enjoy watching this movie more than the Jurassic Park Lost World. I've re watched that maybe twice since it was made.
Thing I never got was they reused the footage from this movie in season one of Voyage with the Hedison and savage woman in the jungle, spider bits but they couldn't even get the colour of Hedison's neck scarf right! In the movie it's a white scarf and in the Voyage bits he's wearing a darker scarf which is at odds with the earlier footage! JB

I do like the film a lot. Ok, so the dinosaurs are lizards with fins stuck on, but we do have David Hedison, Michael Rennie, and Vitina Marcus. And there are some good moments of action in the film. I liked it as a kid, and seeing it today, I think it's still pretty good.
