When I first bought the Blu-ray set I watched a few of my favourite episodes and really appreciated the quality of the picture. Recently I bought the Blu-ray of the new Lost in Space series. I particularly wanted to see No Place to Hide in colour. I really would like to see more first season episodes colourised. While I quite liked the reboot I didn't enjoy it as such as the original and decided to watch all the original episodes in order now that I have retired from work. I enjoyed the performances of the original actors, the special effects and the music. Last night I completed my watch of season two. I must say that I personally think that it was a mistake to focus so much on Dr. Smith at the expense of the rest of the Robinsons. Often less is more and I must say that my favourite episodes are the ones which involve the whole family and Major West. I find Don an interesting character in that he is not a traditional hero - unlike Prof. Robinson - in that he can be bad tempered on occasions. I have noticed that Judy always saw the good in people. I wish that Marta had featured more than she did. I must say that it has been great watching the episodes again and now look forward to viewing season 3.
Welcome to the Forum! I'm glad you are enjoying your rewatch and I hope you will post your thoughts on Season 3 as well!
