Hi John, I can honestly feel your pain. Although you may regret selling that Jupiter 2, you did what you had to do. The truth is, we ALL live in difficult times now. So many people are out of work, and for the people that have been lucky enough to be rehired are earning much less than before. In fact, I lost my job almost a year ago. Who knows, I may have to do what you had to do.
Wow...that's sad...and I know something of what you're feeling...my job of 31 years went when the company I worked for was sold and everything was outsourced.I was able to scrape but a lot of coworkers lost their homes.Hope things are better for you now?
Let's hope it's in the hands of a collector who values it.It'd be terrible to think of some kid slinging it around a back yard.I know of someone who wanted the remote control Frankenstein from the 60s anyway,he got a lead and was horrified to see the owner's son throwing it around the yard - and since the kid half heartly wanted it the man wouldn't sell...sorry,didn't mean to put that picture in your head.Perhaps someone seeing this forum will come forward.
